Saga Money was launched in September 2001 as Saga Investor with information, advice, and features about money aimed at people aged 50 and more. It changed its name to Saga Money in September 2002 before finally closing in Spring 2003. It was published quarterly by Saga Publishing, part of Saga Group which also owns Saga Holidays and Saga Services. The magazine had complete editorial independence.

I agreed to take on the job of consulting editor of Saga Money, which was called Saga Investor in its first year, to help promote interest in the financial needs of people aged 50 and over. I now write a Last Word for each issue, looking at a current financial concern. My pieces from Saga Moneyare re-published on these pages shortly after they appear in print. |
