1873 - age 49
Two prints of the same image taken by George Kendal Warren of Boston probably in late October 1873 on Collins's first visit to the city , but possibly on his return in January 1874. The photographic images are from the same negative but the prints differ slightly in shade and exposure. The versos show different addresses and the one on the right names the 'superintendent' of the works. Another copy is known with no studio name on the reverse. Collins also wore this suit in some of the images taken by Sarony around the same time.
