One of the very few re-publications of Mr. Wray was this one by T.B.Peterson & Brothers in Philadelphia. A pirate edition, probably from 1873. Peterson published a number of Wilkie's books - eleven are listed in the front of this edition. On occasion he not only stole the text, he changed the title, as in this case.
