This one volume edition of Antonina was published in 1861. It was the first attempt to produce a collected edition of Wilkie's works following the stunning success of The Woman in White in 1860. The covers were in uniform mauve bead-grained and blind-stamped cloth with the title and and author reversed out of gilt in a panel on the spine. The publisher's name was at the foot of the spine in gilt. The books cost 5s. Six of Wilkie's titles appeared in this format in 1861-1862, Antonina being the first. In 1864 the colour changed to green and a seventh title was added.
