Richard Westmacott (1799-1872) was a sculptor. His father, also called Richard and an artist is shown left. He knew William Collins and is mentioned in Memoirs (I 23). The younger Richard became a full RA in 1849 and was professor of Sculpture at the Royal Academy 1857-1867. |
