Founded in 1922, Reader's Digest is published in 48 editions in 19 languages in more than 30 countries. The company claims a readership of more than 100 million people each month. So it's understandable that Reader's Digest describes itself as 'The World's Favourite Magazine'. The UK edition costs £42 a year for twelve monthly issues.

For some time I wrote regular features on money for the UK edition of Reader's Digest. Some of these pieces are also on the Reader's Digest website - do a search on my name to find them. In 2007 I wrote once more for the magazine.
