Dear listener,

On Money Box this week:

First up is a spat between the Office of Fair Trading – which says free banking is a myth – and the British Bankers' Association which responds "no it's not". And it challenges the OFT to say if it wants people to pay for banking services they now get free.

Inflation is on the mind of many listeners after last week's show. So we give them their say – and then talk to an economist who says yes inflation is back and the Bank must raise interest rates substantially to control it.

Airmiles are on the minds of other listeners. From 1 June NatWest will no longer give them on credit card spending. Airmiles has switched to LloydsTSB. But is it worth changing cards to fly after them?

Lawyers warn cohabiting couples that they must put in writing who owns what after a key House of Lords judgement this week. It sets out for the first time the rights of unmarried couples to the home they share.

And why do we give so little to charity through our pay-packets? Oxfam launches a campaign to encourage it.

More on all those stories on Money Box – live on Saturday at noon, repeated Sunday at 9pm and any time (after midday) on the web.
