Soon after the London Borough of Hounslow receives the planning application - expected sometime in October - it will start a process of public consultation. Details of that consultation and of the planning application and where you can find more details will appear on these pages when that happens.
So check back during October and find out how to make your views known.
Timetable
The exact timetable is not yet known. But it could go something like this.
5 October 2007: Deadline for pre-submission comments to Dominic Chapman at John Thompson & Partners
later in October 2007: St George submits planning application to the London Borough of Hounslow.
November 2007 to January 2008 Council conducts consultation with local residents and the public. It has to do this by law. The public can object, make suggestions for alterations, or comment on the plans.
November 2007 to January 2008 John Thompson & Partners will also arrange meetings or exhibitions where details can be seen.
March 2008 Planning application goes to the Isleworth & Brentford Area Committee (Planning) of Hounslow council. The committee will give its views.
May 2008 Planning application goes to Sustainable Development Committee of Hounslow council for a decision.
What happens next depends on that decision.
If permission is granted there is no right of appeal by the public. Work on site could start in July 2008 and the development could be finished two years later.
If permission is refused St George will almost certainly appeal. The last appeal took more than 15 months to decide. The outcome of such an appeal is of course completely uncertain.
